22 April 2022 Update:

4 March updates:

  • If you have any COVID symptoms, do not attend. 
  • Wash/sanitise your hands.
  • Maintain 1.5m when not on court.

Check in on entry

  • Everyone (including players & children) check in every time, using the Service VIC app.
  • Location codes: Indoor STR KMD & Outdoor J5W PME
  • To make it easier add each venue as a Favourite via the Service Victoria app. You can check-in without having to scan the QR code each time. For a step by step guide on how to do this, visit: https://service.vic.gov.au/check-in#save-favourite-locations

Game day

  • Game times : 10 minute per quarter. 1 min break 1/4 & 3/4 time. 3 min break 1/2 time. 5 minutes between each game.
  • Get in.  Get Out.
  • Be dressed & taped ready to play. Clip or tape your nails before you arrive. Take your jewelry off.
  • BYO full labeled drink bottle. Do not share food.
  • Only people required for the match should attend.
  • Spectators permitted.
  • No venue cap.
  • No density limit.

Equipment

  • Bendigo Bank Game Day Ball – Umpires will bring the ball to the game and return it to the Competition Desk.
  • Spectators gently kick the ball back on court if it comes your way.
  • We apply GEARLOCK™, a 12HR equipment, and surface protectant, to match balls, goal post etc. GEARLOCK™ disinfects surfaces and then dries to form a long-lasting protective barrier that provides up to 12hrs of continuous defence against bacteria.
  • Each group provides their own bibs.
  • Minimise the use of shared equipment.
  • Don’t share personal items.

Vaccination requirements

  • No current requirement for participants, support personnel, spectators, staff and volunteers to be vaccinated for community netball.

Face Masks

  • Face mask are not required at outdoor venues, however a face mask should be worn where 1.5metre physical  must be worn if physical distancing cannot be maintained.
  • Face masks must be worn indoors.

Scoring

  • BYO pen.
  • Face mask must be worn if physical distancing cannot be maintained. Even outdoors as it is difficult to maintain 1.5m distance.
  • Home team collect scoresheet. Dcoresheets available he competition office.
  • Indoor courts :
    • Wipe down the score bench after your game.
    • Sweep the courts HALF TIME.

Umpires

  •  Umpire sign-in sheet available near the competition office.

Check the fixture online

  • Changes to the fixture will occur—please check fixtures online.
  • Forfeits are evitable due to illness. Clubs will be notified as soon as we can.  Some may occur at late notice due to the nature of illness.  Please be patient.
