Coaching

People are drawn to coaching a netball team for many and varied reasons. You may be the only parent of a school or club netball team with any knowledge of netball, or you may have been a good player and want to work your way up to coaching a high performance team. Or you may dream of one day coaching the Australian Diamonds!

No matter what level of netball coaching you set out to do, there is plenty of help at hand to give you the confidence to take on the challenge.

Coaching junior teams doesn’t require accreditation, but working your way through the lower tiers of the accreditation pathway is sure to benefit both you and your developing young team.

Safe Netball app

The Netball Australia Game Day / Training Checklist app is a risk management tool that can be used by Association / Club Officials pre-game and training. The checklist and safety audit provides a reliable method of identifying, recording, and addressing risks before they occur and can decrease exposure to property damage, personal injury, or in extreme cases legal action. Additionally, the app also features an incident reporting functionality for the notification of Personal Accidents and Public Liability matters.
Features of the Netball Australia Game Day / Training app include:

  • The ability to efficiently complete and submit a Game Day / Training checklist electronically
  • A Safety Audit provides clear guidelines for club officials to follow to identify hazards and ensure a safe environment for everyone involved
