Ensuring Fair Play

Keep Positive & Safe Environment

Code of Conduct

Ensure that all teams, spectators, and coaches are aware of the code of conduct.  View the Code of Conduct

All Club Coaches must complete the Code of Conduct form online by the end of grading

MENA has a Zero Tolerance Policy for Abuse
  • Verbal or physical abuse towards umpires, players, officials, coaches, or spectators is never acceptable.

Raising Concerns Respectfully

If you have concerns during a match:

  • Who to Approach: Speak with the MENA Competition Coordinator or Umpire Supervisor for clarification.
  • How to Identify Them: They wear blue/yellow MENA polos and blue vests.
  • Where to Find Them: Near the courts or in the Competition Office.

Let’s keep our netball environment safe, fair, and respectful for everyone.

Competition & Umpire Game Day Coordinators will log these in the Competition Log.  This helps us track and address:
1. Player Misconduct
2. Spectator Misconduct
3. Coaches’ Misconduct
4. Umpire and Official Issues

These logs help inform communication with Clubs and Social teams.

Clubs are then responsible for investigating the reported behaviour and taking appropriate action. Depending on the situation, actions taken have included suspensions, supervised games, written apologies, additional training, or re-signing the Code of Conduct.
