About Us
Melbourne East Netball Association (MENA) was established in 1952 and has been providing netball competitions in the Outer Eastern Suburbs for over 50 years. Since 1977 the Association has been based at the leafy H.E. Parker Reserve in Heathmont, Melbourne. Our home is the new Maroondah Nets at HE Parker which includes 4 indoor and 4 outdoor netball courts.

Courtside Cafe, Maroondah Nets, 154 Heathmont Rd, Heathmont
Position Overview
Casual position. Must be available Saturdays – other days available by negotiation.
This position is responsible for the effective and efficient running of MENA’s Courtside Café. The position is responsible for the following:
- Managing the shift operations
- Preparation of food and beverages
- Undertaking regular stock takes
- Cleaning
- Management of all Safety Requirements
- Training and induction of cafe staff
- Input into hiring
- Delivering a high level of customer service to a diverse clientele
- Daily till reconciliations
- Developing procedures and systems and ensuring that staff are across these
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Food handlers supervisors certificate
- Working with Children’s Employee Check
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Food Service and Preparation Experience
- Customer service skills
- Barista skills
- Use of Point of Sale register
