2026 MENA Junior Club Tournament, Sponsored by Nick McGowan MP
Welcome all Players, Officials, and Spectators to the Melbourne East Netball Association Junior Club Tournament, sponsored by Nick McGowan MP. Melbourne East Netball Association (MENA) would also like to extend a warm welcome to all teams. We hope that all teams have an enjoyable afternoon of netball at the Maroondah Nets. Please find below the information for the tournament.

Coaches, Scorers and Umpires please read the tournament rules. The day runs very briskly, and we need the assistance of you all to ensure we stay on schedule. This includes teams and umpires to be on the court on time, and the completed scoresheets to be returned to the office promptly following each game.

Key Points
- Although this is a tournament and the teams are playing for medals, it is also meant to be a fun day so play in the spirit of the game and enjoy yourselves.
- The Courtside Café will be open for food and drinks (including coffee!) and the MENA Rep Program will be running a BBQ with bacon and egg rolls, hamburgers and sausages.
- We will be using live scoring for the tournament.

17 and under Fast5.
We are very pleased to have 17’s included in this tournament and excited to showcase the fast5 version of netball. Unfortunately due to the withdrawal of a number of 17U teams we have just 5 teams in the competition. To ensure these players get plenty of time on court we have made this section a double round robin with a straight 1 v 2 Grand Final. The only way to make this work on Netball Connect was the add the second round of games manually and they all fall under Round 5 so does appear a little odd! It also does not show the byes for the additional rounds of matches. Each team has 2 byes during the tournament. To avoid any confusion please ensure you are clear on the time your team is playing. Apologies for any confusion with this.

MENA is affiliated with Netball Victoria, and as such, all players need to have a current Netball Victoria Membership or play with a Single Game Voucher (SGV).
