2025 Annual General Meeting (Held in 2026)
Notice is given of the Annual General Meeting of Melbourne East Netball Association on Tuesday 19 May 2026 at Maroondah Nets 154 Heathmont Road Heathmont commencing at 7:30pm.
The ordinary business of the Annual General Meeting shall be to:
- confirm the minutes of the last preceding Annual General Meeting and of any General Meeting held since that meeting;
- receive from the Board, reports upon the transactions of the Association during the last preceding year;
- receive notification of election of the Board Members of the Association;
- declare Life Members; and
- receive and consider the financial statements submitted by the Board in accordance with the Act.
The only persons entitled to vote at Annual General Meetings of the Association shall be the Affiliated Clubs (through their Delegates) and Life Members.

Four positions will be declared vacant.
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Angela Wood (General Board Member – Events and Fundraising) – eligible for reappointment
- Abbey Herron (General Board Member – Coach portfolio) – eligible for reappointment
Nominations of candidates for election as Board Members, shall be:
- (i) made in writing, signed by two (2) Affiliated Clubs or Life Members and accompanied by the written consent of the nominee (which may be endorsed on the form of nomination). The nominee must be a Member of the Association; and
- (ii) delivered to the Secretary of the Association by the date specified on the call for nominations. (COB 15 May 2026).
