Join the MENA Team – Board Treasurer

Melbourne East Netball Association (MENA) is seeking a Treasurer to join our Board and help guide the financial future of our association.

MENA is in a strong financial position, with established processes in place. Our current Treasurer, Narelle, has done a great job supporting the association, and a thorough handover and ongoing support will be provided to help the incoming Treasurer settle into the role with confidence.

About the Role

Working with the Board and Operations Manager, the Treasurer will help oversee MENA’s financial management and long-term sustainability, including:

• Overseeing financial reporting, budgets and cash flow.
• Monitoring income, expenditure and financial performance.
• Supporting annual financial statements and reporting requirements.
• Providing financial insights to support informed Board decisions.
• Helping ensure strong financial governance and planning for the future.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with financial management, bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

Experience in community sport or a not-for-profit organisation would be an advantage. Previous Board experience is welcome but not essential.

The Position

The role is remunerated by an annual honorarium payment and offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills to a well-established community sporting organisation.
