2022 Representative Team Trials

- Representative netball provides an opportunity to further develop and hone players’ netball skills and provides a pathway where players can aspire to play at elite levels. Playing a higher level of sport also develops strong personal and team discipline.
- Play MENA Representative netball and develop your skills with experienced coaches.
- Join a growing Association with a strong supportive MENA community of coaches, players, and umpires.
- Enjoy MENA team spirit and make lifelong MENA friends.
- Compete in local tournaments through the year.
- Compulsory training is held weekly at Maroondah Nets at HE Parker.
- Games are held at Waverley Netball Centre
Team Trial Schedule is subject to COVID-19 Government Restrictions and Netball Victoria Guidelines.
Trial dates are provisional and will depend on the easing of Government restrictions. Confirmed dates and further details will be provided to all registered players once available.

Trial info
All players wishing to be considered for a 2022 Representative Team must register online via the links above
- Cost $10 per player
- Late registrations will not be accepted.
- We may ask players to play in a position not nominated in the registration process.
- Players are expected to be available to attend all trials. A medical certificate must be provided if you are unable to trial due to injury or illness. You must email admin@menanetball.com.au with details prior to the sessions.
- What to Wear:
- Plain white top
- Dark shorts/skort/tights (Not full length – not covering lower leg so we can write a number on), no club/rep uniforms
- What to Bring:
- Full named drink bottle
- Any medication/puffers etc.
- Face Masks – All attendees over 12 are required to wear a mask to and from training and while not on the court. Click here to view information about face masks.
13U, 15U, 17U, and Open teams – Following trials players will be selected into Age Group squads. Squads allow the opportunity for coaches to further observe players during training sessions in late January. Likewise, giving players greater opportunity to demonstrate their ability and skills to coaches during these training sessions. U13, U15, U17, and Open teams will be finalised and communicated prior to the season commencing at Waverley or earlier if possible, as determined by the Head Coach.
- 11 & U players are selected as a development squad and will continue to be a squad for the 2022 season.
Important Dates
2022 Rep Ready Sessions for NEW registered players – All Age Groups
These training opportunities are non-compulsory and available for those players new to the MENA Rep program to give them the opportunity to get back on court after the extended break due to lockdowns. These sessions will be run by MENA Rep coaches and help you prepare for the trials. You can register for one or both sessions.

Preseason Camp
Should Government restrictions allow there will be a compulsory preseason camp on the weekend of 5th/6th February 2022. 11 & Under Players will attend the camp for one of the days.
