How to juggle 3 balls in 3 easy steps with Merryn
Juggling develops your reaction skills, improves your ball handling, brings your focus to one place and its a bit of fun.
You will need
- 3 things to juggle – juggling balls, bean bags, rolled up socks, scarves
- Persistence
- Reaction Skills
- Some Laughter
Here is how to juggle in 3 easy steps
Cooking with Maddy - No Bake Tournie Cookies
Maddy’s no bake cookies are easy to make. They are also a great energy boost at tournaments. What is your favourite snack recipe for tournaments?
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Rolled Oats
- 1 Cup Desiccated Coconut
- ½ Cup Walnuts (Optional)
- ½ Cup Coconut Oil
- 1/3 Cup Rice Malt Syrup
- 1/3 Cup Nut Butter or Hazelnut Cacao Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
- 2 TBS Cacao Powder
Method
- Put the Oats, Coconut and chopped Walnuts in a bowl. Mix together.
- Put the Coconut Oil, Rice Malt Syrup, Nut or Hazelnut Spread and Vanilla Essence in a microwave jug. Melt in the microwave.
- Add 2 Tablespoons of Cacao Powder in to the jug of wet ingredients and mix in.
- Mix dry and wet ingredients.
- Roll the mix in to balls and place on a lined tray. Flatten them if you like so they resemble cookies.
- Put them in the freezer for 30mins to 1 hour to set. Keep them fresh in the fridge.

Boost your reflexes with Beth's solo ball challenge
You will need:
- Wall
- Ball
What to do:
- Stand close towards the wall with the ball in one hand and bounce it against the wall using only the tips of your fingers.
- Do the same thing with the other hand.
Challenges:
- How many can you do without stopping?
- How many bounces can you do in 30 seconds?
Bec challenges you to improve your Vertical Leap.

You will need 10 markers, Netball and Goal post. We challenge you to show us what you have.

Can you keep the ball going?
Emily's Footwork Challenge
What you need:
4 markers eg. Cones, drink bottles, plates, shoes, socks, chalk marks
What to do:
- Place your cones an equal distance part one after another in a straight line.
- Jump over each marker. Make sure you have a soft and light landing. Keep your knees in line with your feet.
- Hop over your markers. Land quietly, keep your hips level and knee in line with your foot.
- Weave forward and backwards through your markers. To change direction through the cones use your outside leg as the brake and inside leg as the accelerator. Ensure your knees are in line with your feet, hips/knees are bent and strong through your torso.
- Sideways over your markers. Try to land quietly, keep hips level and your knee is in line with your foot.
Abbey's Pet Obstable Course Challenge
What you need:
What to do:
Take a video of your pet either:
- doing their favourite tricks
- Or build an indoor or backyard obstacle course
Here are a few ideas to get you started on building an indoor obstacle course:
· Crawl under or over a row of chairs. · Crawl under a string stretched between two chair legs. · Jump into and out of a Hula-Hoop five times. · Walk on a balance board. · Run while balancing a beanbag on your pet’s head. · Do a ring toss or ball toss. · Shake paws · High 5 · Fetch a ball · Throw a ball back · Defend or Shadow | · Pick up the keys · Wipe your paws · Jump · Jump through a hoop · Sing · Come when you whistle · Balance · Fetch your runners · Catch a ball · Wave · Take a bow · dodge around markers |
Laura's 7-Up Ball Challenge
What you need:
- Tennis ball
- Wall

What to do:
7 times – Bounce the ball onto the wall, and then catch it without letting it touch the ground
6 times – Bounce the ball onto the wall, let it hit the ground once and then catch
5 times – Bounce the ball on the ground
4 times – Bounce the ball from the ground to the wall, and then catch it before it hits the ground again
3 times – Bounce the ball on the ground, then use your palm to hit the ball into the wall and then catch it
2 times – Toss the ball under your leg onto the wall, then catch it without letting it hit the ground
1 times– Throw the ball to the wall, spin around and catch before the ball hits the ground
