Sportsmanship Matters

In the game of life, these rules apply on and off the court:
1️⃣ Respect the officials; questions? Ask your captain or Coach
2️⃣ Keep your cool; no abuse, no distractions.
3️⃣ Celebrate good plays, no matter the team.
4️⃣ Treat others kindly, always fair play.
5️⃣ Teamwork makes the dream work. 🙌
6️⃣ Play for the love of the game, not for others. 🎉
Let’s make sports a place of respect, fun, and unity.

Saturday Finals

Finals Scoresheet Process

Please note that the process for scoresheets during finals is different from the regular season. It’s important that this information is shared with all teams participating in the semi-finals, especially as some Coaches or Team Managers may be new to finals procedures.

Finals Scoresheet Process:

  • Only eligible players will be listed on the scoresheets — i.e. those who have played a minimum of four games and have qualified to participate in finals.
➤ Players can only play in one team throughout the finals series.

  • Scoresheets will be available on the table at least 30 minutes prior to the game. Coaches and Team Managers must check the sheet to ensure all listed players are correct.

  • If a player from your team is missing from the scoresheet, please speak to the Competition Coordinators.
This process takes time, so please check eligibility in advance. Clubs can access player qualification status via NetballConnect.

  • Once checked, scoresheets must be returned to the Competition Coordinator.

  • Umpires will bring the scoresheets out to the courts.

  • Each team must supply a scorer.

  • The winning team is responsible for returning the completed scoresheet to the Competition Office after the game.
