Inclusion Round 2025
Celebrating Netball for Everyone
Let’s Brighten the Court
We’re bringing the colour with balloons and brightly coloured netballs across all matches. We’d love our clubs and members to get involved. Here are some fun and safe ways to show your support:
- Wear rainbow socks, scrunchies, ribbons, or colourful bibs
- Add bright leggings or shorts (no pockets) under uniforms
- Use safe accessories that allow you to play freely
More Choice, More Inclusion
Our Representative Program offers players the option of wearing shorts and singlets as an alternative to the traditional netball dress — promoting comfort, flexibility, and inclusivity.
Many clubs have embraced this, offering shorts and tops alongside dresses.
For Club Competition, players can wear:
- Long or short-sleeved tops and leggings (no pockets, buttons, or zippers) under uniforms
- To maintain consistency, all players from the same club must wear the approved club colour – check with your club for details.
Umpires wear predominately white: dress, shirt, skirt, skort, shorts, or pants. They may also wear navy blue skirt, skort, shorts, or pants.

NEW! 15 & Under Mixed Division Autumn Club Competition
The MENA Board and Club Competition Standing Committee are pleased to introduce a new 15 & Under Mixed Competition this season to Saturday Club Competition.
This additional competition will run on Saturdays and aims to support the growth of mixed netball, providing more opportunities for male players to participate and develop within the sport. To support the launch of this new mixed competition players can participate in both their regular team and a 15 & U Mixed competition team. This option is only available for the players in the 15 & Under Mixed competition. The player must meet the age eligibility for both and meet the gender restrictions outlined for the division.
