2025 MENA Representative 14U & 17U Male Squad & OPEN Female Team

We aim to give our players the opportunity to play netball at a higher level and develop to their highest potential.  Representative netball provides an opportunity to further develop and hone players’ netball skills and provides a pathway where players can aspire to play at elite levels. 

You are invited to register for our Open training sessions / trials.

When: Sunday 8 December, 10.30-12pm .

Venue:  Team Trials will take place at Maroondah Nets, HE Parker, 154 Heathmont Road, Heathmont 3135

Eligibility

  • 14&U males: Individuals turning 11 to 14 years old in 2025
  • 17&U males: Individuals turning 15 to 17 years old in 2025
  • OPEN female : Individuals born 2027 and prior. 

It is preferred that players have some association with the MENA competitions; however, we would like all players to have the opportunity to be part of team. 

Key Dates & Times

Male Squad 

2025 Autumn Season – Parkville Male Competition – OPTIONAL SEASON
Games: 6pm/7pm/8pm Sunday 16th March – 6th July

2025 Spring Season – M-League Competition
Games: 6.10pm Wednesday nights August –  December 

Location: State Netball Centre, Parkville

Training: To be confirmed

OPEN female Squad 

 Squad will play games in the OPEN divisions Autumn & Spring Seasons at Waverley Netball Centre in 2025

Trial Registration Information

All players wishing to be considered for a 2025 Representative Team must register online via the links above

  • Cost $15 per player
  • Late registrations will not be accepted.
  • We may ask players to play in a position not nominated in the registration process.
  • Players are expected to be available to attend all trials.  A medical certificate must be provided if you are unable to trial due to injury or illness. You must email admin@menanetball.com.au with details prior to the sessions.
  • What to Wear:
    • Plain white top
    • Dark shorts/skort/tights (Not full length – not covering lower leg so we can write a number on), no club/rep uniforms
  • What to Bring:
    • Full named drink bottle
    • Any medication/puffers etc.
  •  Following trials, players will be selected into Age Group squads. Squads allow the opportunity for coaches to further observe players during training sessions. Likewise, giving players a greater opportunity to demonstrate their ability and skills to coaches during these training sessions. Teams will be finalised and communicated before the season commencing at Waverley or earlier if possible, as determined by the Head Coach
