Trial info

All players wishing to be considered for a 2025 Representative Team must register online via the links above

  • Cost $15 per player
  • Late registrations will not be accepted.
  • We may ask players to play in a position not nominated in the registration process.
  • Players are expected to be available to attend all trials.  A medical certificate must be provided if you are unable to trial due to injury or illness. You must email admin@menanetball.com.au with details prior to the sessions.
  • What to Wear:
    • Plain white top
    • Dark shorts/skort/tights (Not full length – not covering lower leg so we can write a number on), no club/rep uniforms
  • What to Bring:
    • Full named drink bottle
    • Any medication/puffers etc.
  • 13U, 15U, 17U, 19U and Open teams – Following trials, players will be selected into Age Group squads. Squads allow the opportunity for coaches to further observe players during training sessions in late January. Likewise, giving players a greater opportunity to demonstrate their ability and skills to coaches during these training sessions. U13, U15, U17, U19 and Open teams will be finalised and communicated before the season commencing at Waverley or earlier if possible, as determined by the Head Coach

  • 11 & U players are selected as a development squad and will continue to be a squad for the 2025 season.

Eastern Conference competition at Waverley

MENA will be holding trials for players aspiring to join our 19 & Under team, set to compete in the Eastern Conference at Waverley in 2025. This is an exceptional opportunity for pathway athletes to participate in a high-level competition designed to bridge the gap for those aiming to advance to the Victorian Netball League 23 & Under competition and further their journey in the elite netball pathway.

Competition Details:

Conference: Eastern: Played at Waverley Netball Centre on Friday nights Format: Eastern conference will crown a winner, leading to a play-off between Western conference champions. Season : March to August 2024 Game Times: First game begins at 7:00 PM Game Format: 4 x 15-minute quarters/3 minutes for 1/4 & 3/4 time breaks/5 minutes for 1/2 time break Eligibility: – Age Restriction: Players must be 19 years or younger as of December 31, 2024. – Minimum Age: Players must turn 15 in 2024 (born no later than 2009). It is preferred that players have some association with the MENA competitions, however at this early stage in the development of 19&U netball we would like all players to have the opportunity to be part of this competition and its an exciting time for netball. All players are welcome. Don’t miss this fantastic chance to enhance your skills and compete at a high level in preparation for the next step in your netball career.
